On December 28, Xiaomi presented its top-of-the-range smartphones of the Xiaomi 12 line for 2022. But this event is also marked by the presentation and launch of the new version of the user interface from the Chinese manufacturer, MIUI 13.
One of the great novelties is the new control center. And although it was introduced during the event, it did not immediately hit the first updated smartphones in China.
The new MIUI 13 Control Center finally arrived at the first Xiaomi
Xiaomi has started using the latest Quick Sets panel with MIUI 12 since April 2020. But with the latest update made to MIUI 13 this Tuesday, the changes are finally there.
The images we share were published by the Xiaomiui page and show two main differences. Data usage and Bluetooth shortcut have been removed from the top zone and replaced by the brightness and volume bar.
When we scroll the page, it scrolls left or right with the four main quick settings. This makes it easier to change the settings in this field.
It is important to note that these changes will only be noticed on devices that combine the MIUI 13 update with Android 12. Remember that there are older devices that will stay with Android 11, but try some of the new features of MIUI 13.
For now, only selected smartphones with Chinese ROM have access to MIUI 13. Only when the Xiaomi 12 has been introduced globally, this version of Xiaomi’s user interface in Europe will also be released.
