Miss Venezuela Stephany Abasali: “I See Myself as Miss Universe Winner”

To win Miss Universe, a contestant truly needs to believe in herself. Stephany Abasali, at 25 years old, is Venezuela’s representative for the upcoming competition in Thailand. She has strong faith in her own beauty and genuine self. These two qualities are her powerful cards to play in the big event.

Stephany grew up in Bolívar state, a region in the eastern part of the Caribbean country. A prominent news channel, US Weekly En Español, shared insights from her interview. Stephany talked about her plans to bring an eighth Miss Universe crown home to Venezuela. The country hasn’t won since 2013, so everyone is hoping for a win.

“I feel calm, and that feeling has been a big force guiding me through this whole journey,” Stephany explained. She pointed to three key parts of her winning mindset: confidence, being real, and having big dreams. Her authenticity, she believes, was why she won the Miss Venezuela title. “It’s because I show how unique I can be compared to everyone else,” she stressed.

Stephany also made it clear that looking good on the outside is just a small part of being Miss Universe. “Many of us think we have to win because we are physically beautiful,” she observed. “But for me, what really matters is showing our inner beauty and how we get ready for life.”

She reminded everyone that while Miss Universe is a dream for many models, just taking part opens up a wider future. “We should prepare not only for a pageant,” she stated, “but for the rest of our lives. That’s what comes after the contest.”

She also let us in on a secret: she’s quite down-to-earth. Stephany enjoys going to the movies, meeting new people, and trying different foods. “I might look serious sometimes, but I’m actually very social. Not everyone knows this about me,” she confessed. “I always try to show this side, because I know it’s part of what makes a Venezuelan woman.”
