Minecraft fans are in for a treat. The new Minecraft movie is set to hit theaters on April 4, and Microsoft and Mojang are buzzing with excitement. To get everyone pumped, they’re giving away a free DLC pack for all Minecraft versions – yes, that includes console and PC players.
This DLC pack comes with three brand-new mini-games: Elytra Race, First Night Survival, and Mansion Stealth. The official Minecraft website reveals that players who smash records in these mini-games will get special trophies.
The characters in the DLC are inspired by the movie’s main cast, including Jason Momoa and Jack Black. The mini-games themselves also reference the film, but don’t worry – there are no spoilers. The DLC launches before the movie, so you’ll get to play with new items and explore fresh scenes before catching the film.
The Minecraft movie hits theaters on April 4, 2025, in the US and on April 3 in other parts of the world.
