This highly anticipated event is expected to unveil the latest 5G chip, bolstered by cutting-edge AI features, which has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks. As the rumors suggest, it’s highly likely that MediaTek will seize this opportunity to launch its long-rumored flagship chip, the Dimensity 9400+, a move that would align perfectly with the expected release of several smartphones in April 2025, such as the OPPO Find X8S and vivo X200S, which are rumored to be powered by this very chip.
According to reports, the Dimensity 9400+ is expected to boast specs similar to its current flagship counterpart, the Dimensity 9400, which was unveiled in late 2024. The key difference lies in the overclocked CPU speed, with the Cortex-X925 core seeing a boost from 3.62 GHz to 3.7 GHz, while retaining the same configuration of three Cortex-X4 cores (3.3 GHz) and four Cortex-A720 cores (2.4 GHz).
