Luka Doncic ejected in Lakers' loss to Oklahoma City Thunder

Luka Doncic’s night ended early. With just 7:40 left in the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he got two technical fouls. The Lakers were up 108-107 at the time.
The first technical came after Doncic used strong language with the referees.

The second technical was for something Doncic said after a play. He talked to a fan in the front row. The referee thought he was talking to him, so he gave Doncic another technical.

Lakers radio commentators were not happy with the call. They said it was one of the worst officiating jobs they had ever seen.

Doncic and the rest of the Lakers team, including LeBron James, argued with the referee. They tried to explain that Doncic was talking to a fan, not the referee. But the call stood.
The fan, Jeremy Price, was identified later. He is a well-known Oklahoma City fan who calls himself “the tattoo guy.” In an interview with ESPN, Price said he tried to get in Doncic’s head during the game.

The Thunder ended up winning the game 136-120. They outscored the Lakers 29-12 after Doncic was ejected.
