LoL: LOUD Midlaner Jool Departs After Four Months

Brazilian esports giant LOUD is navigating significant roster changes following the recent, quick departures of two key League of Legends players, midlaner Kang “Jool” Dong-soo and jungler Johnson “Gryffinn” Le.

The organization announced the exit of South Korean midlaner Kang “Jool” Dong-soo on Thursday, November 20, 2025. His departure comes just four months after joining LOUD in July 2025.

LOUD posted a farewell message to Dong-soo on its official X account on November 19, 2025. The message acknowledged his brief but valuable time with the team.

The departure of Dong-soo follows closely on the heels of Johnson “Gryffinn” Le, an American jungler. Le announced his own exit from LOUD on Monday, November 17, 2025.

Le stated he turned down a strong offer to remain with the team. He opted instead to pursue an opportunity that would bring him closer to his family and home. “I am sincerely grateful to all of you, thank you very much, from the bottom of my heart,” Le wrote in his public farewell.

Dong-soo had taken over the midlaner position at LOUD from Thiago “Tinowns” Sartori. Sartori had been with the club for a longer tenure, from December 2021 to June 2025.

During his brief stint, Dong-soo competed only in the third split of the League of The Americas (LTA Sul). He played alongside Le, Leonardo “Robo” Souza, Moon “Route” Geom-su, and Ygor “RedBert” Freitas in that competition. Dong-soo’s previous teams include Seorabeol Gaming, EsportsConnected, DAMWON Challengers, Team AURORA, Dark Passage, Burning Core Toyama, and Boostgate Esports.
