Finnish Power Forward Alexander Madsen Joins Força Lleida in Endesa League
Força Lleida, the team recently promoted to the Endesa League, has announced the signing of Finnish power forward Alexander Madsen for the next two seasons.
Third Addition to the Lleida Team
Madsen is the third player to join the Lleida team this season, following the signings of Oriol Pauli and Rafa Villar, both from Barça.
Experience in the Endesa League
The 29-year-old arrives at Barris Nord with experience playing in the Endesa League last year with MoraBanc Andorra. However, he was only able to play 15 games due to signing in December 2023.
Statistics and Experience
In the 2023-24 season with VEF Riga, Madsen averaged 6.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in eight matches. With Andorra, he averaged 2.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game. Internationally, he has gained extensive experience playing for his national team.

Career Trajectory
Madsen’s career in Europe began with Kouvot in Finland in the 2011-12 season. He then moved to the Czech Republic to play for USK Prague and later signed with VEF Riga in Latvia, playing in the Champions League. He also had stints with AEK Athens in Greece and MoraBanc Andorra in Andorra before joining Força Lleida.
