Forget celebrity breakups or big movie news for a moment. The real tear-jerker this week comes from actor Kartik Aaryan’s home. His adorable pet dog, Katori, is giving everyone the feels. After the festive goodbyes to Ganpati Bappa, Katori is clearly suffering from some serious post-festival blues. Kartik shared a video on Sunday, and it quickly became popular.
The yearly Ganpati festival brings so much joy. Families welcome Lord Ganpati into their homes with grand celebrations. Kartik Aaryan was no different. He joyfully brought Bappa home for the celebrations. However, all good things must come to an end. On Saturday, Anant Chaturdashi marked the time for Visarjan, the immersion ceremony.
In the heartwarming yet sad video, Katori sits by the spot where Ganpati Bappa once stood. The little dog looks utterly dejected. You can see Katori gazing at the empty space with a longing in its eyes. Kartik even gently asks, “Katori, what happened? Ganpati has gone.” But Katori just keeps its eyes fixed on the empty temple area. It is clear the furry friend misses the festive energy and the beloved deity.

Kartik Aryan shared an adorable video on Instagram. In this, Katori can be seen sitting sadly outside the temple where Ganpati Bappa was placed. Kartik Aaryan asks Katori, ‘Katori, what happened? Ganpati has gone.’ Even after this, the pet dog continues to stare at the temple.
A Quiet Farewell at Home

Kartik made sure Bappa’s send-off was special and mindful. On Saturday, he chose to perform the immersion right at his residence. He prepared a drum, decorating it beautifully with flowers. Alongside his mother, Kartik offered prayers. They then bid farewell to Lord Ganpati in a peaceful, private ceremony. Katori, his loyal companion, was right there by his side throughout the entire process. Kartik also gave fans a peek into the emotional day, sharing moments from the Visarjan on his social media.
