According to news agency PTI, Justice Jyoti Singh has given clear instructions. Priya Kapoor must file her reply to the petition within two weeks. After that, she will have another week to submit any further response. The court also wants a full list of all assets from her. This includes every known movable and immovable property. These assets need to be declared as they stood on June 12. The next court hearing remains set for October 9.
Children Allege Fabrication of Will
The children’s petition contains strong allegations. It claims that Sanjay Kapoor never mentioned any will during his lifetime. Furthermore, neither Priya Kapoor nor anyone else ever spoke of such a document. The petition accuses Priya Kapoor. It suggests her actions clearly indicate that she created the alleged will herself. The children believe the document is not genuine.
Sanjay Kapoor’s Recent Passing
Sanjay Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor’s former husband and a businessman, passed away on June 12. His passing was a significant event for the family. Karisma Kapoor attended his final rites, accompanied by both of their children. Karisma and Sanjay were married in 2003. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2016. They had two children together: a son named Kiaan, and a daughter named Samaira.
