Kareena Kapoor Khan is a stickler for home-cooked meals. She and her husband, Saif Ali Khan, have taken to cooking at home. Saif’s culinary skills trump hers, though – she can’t even boil an egg.
Kareena shared this tidbit at the launch of her nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar’s book, “The Commonsense Diet”. After a long day, nothing beats a home-cooked meal, she says. They’ve started cooking themselves.
Saif’s a better cook, no question. She’s not picky about food and can eat the same thing, like khichdi, for days on end.
She revealed that if she doesn’t have khichdi for three days, she starts craving it. Her cook gets tired of making the same dish for 10-15 days straight. She’s happy eating khichdi five days a week, with a dash of ghee.
The Kapoor family has a soft spot for a particular dish – ‘paya soup’, which Kareena calls their ‘golden dish’.
Kareena Kapoor Khan posted about her love for home-cooked meals on Instagram, giving a glimpse into her kitchen adventures with Saif.
