Television personality Kamya Punjabi has publicly criticized contestant Tanya Mittal for body-shaming fellow housemate Ashnoor Kaur on Bigg Boss 19. Punjabi voiced her disapproval on social media following recent episodes.
Punjabi issued a strong statement via her X account. She declared Ashnoor Kaur to be “cuter, more sensible, classy, and dignified” than Mittal, regardless of Mittal’s perceived affluence. Punjabi also extended a “salute” to other women for not intervening to stop the “nonsense.”
#Tanya aap bulati hongi indonesia se massage specialist…aapki hongon hazaaron factories lekin phir bhi #Ashnoor aapse jyada cute, sensible, classy n dignified hai. Hats off to the other ladies too for not shutting this shit off

Stop body shaming 😡#BiggBoss19 @ColorsTV— Kamya Shalabh Dang (@iamkamyapunjabi) October 29, 2025
The controversy began when Tanya Mittal mocked Ashnoor Kaur’s appearance on an episode of the popular reality show. Mittal claimed that good clothes did not suit Kaur.
Another contestant, Neelam, intensified the comments by comparing Kaur to a dinosaur and dubbing her “Jurassic Park.” These remarks quickly drew strong condemnation online. Fans expressed outrage over the insensitive and bullying behavior displayed by the participants.
In other Bigg Boss 19 news, two contestants were recently eliminated this weekend. Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama departed from the house.
Nehal’s eviction has sparked a debate on social media, with many users attributing Baseer’s exit to her. The competition continues with remaining contestants: Mridul Tiwari, Farhana Bhatt, Gaurav Khanna, Neelam Giri, Shahbaz Badesha, Tanya Mittal, Kunika Sadanand, Ashnoor Kaur, Praneet More, Malti Chahar, and Abhishek Bajaj.
