Fields entered Soldier Field with 905 rushing yards and with 95 in the game today he became the third quarterback to record 1,000 rushing yards in a regular season. The first two were Michael Vick (2006) and Lamar Jackson (2019 and 2020).
The 2006 season was Vick’s last with the Atlanta Falcons. This year, versatile QB rushed 123 times for 1,039 yards and two scores. On 56 occasions, using his legs meant another set of downs.
For his part, Jackson had 1,206 yards and seven touchdowns in 2019, season in which he finished as NFL MVP. A year later, the Louisville graduate rrecorded 1,005 yards with seven touchdowns.
In aerial matters, the season has not been the best for the former Ohio State Buckeyes player since he accumulates 2,048 yards with 15 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions. In addition, Fields is one of the most punished quarterbacks in the season since he has been sacked 46 times.

In addition to joining the select group, Fields broke the record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in Chicago Bears history. That mark had belonged to Bobby Douglass since 1972. The Kansas graduate rushed 141 times and had 968 yards that season.
