Juraj Sagan, with his brother Peter at TotalEnergies

Peter Sagan will once again count on his new adventure in TotalEnergies with one of his great supporters in the peloton world: his older brother Juraj Sagan, as the Slovak media Pravda points out and awaiting official confirmation from the team.

Although it was taken for granted that the arrival of Juraj Sagan with his brother would occur, in recent weeks uncertainty had grown about whether this was finally going to happen, since both Juraj and Erik Baska assured in September that TotalEnergies had not contacted them, while the team did confirm the arrival of two other great Sagan gregarians such as Daniel Oss and Maciej Bodnar.

In fact Juraj Sagan has always accompanied his brother Peter in the various adventures that the three-time world champion has faced in the peloton since his debut at Liquigas, his later name of Cannondale, the signing for Tinkoff and finally at this stage at Bora-Hansgrohe before making the jump to TotalEnergies.

Juraj Sagan, 32, is one of Peter Sagan’s great supporters, although his results are much more discreet than those of his brother, since In his record, he has only four titles of national champion of Slovakia and a second place in a stage of the Tour of Langkawi. His best performance performance in one of the great events of the calendar took place in the Ghent-Wevelgem of 2017, when he managed to finish in fourteenth position and arrive with the group of favorites.
