Jorge Silva, a 29-year-old right-back, is now a free agent. After two seasons with Ljubljana, where he won the Slovenian championship, Silva has parted ways with the club.
He joined Ljubljana two years ago from Paços de Ferreira. In his time with the club, Silva made 94 appearances, scoring three goals and providing 15 assists.
Silva’s departure was announced by the club
The club bid farewell to Silva on social media:
- Silva played 45 games in his first season, totaling 3412 minutes, scoring one goal, and making eight assists.
- In his last season, he played 48 games, totaling 3829 minutes, scoring two goals, and making seven assists.
Silva will not be working with manager Jorge Simão again. The two previously worked together at Paços de Ferreira in the 2021/2022 season. Simão has returned to management after a year away from the sport.
The Slovenian club wished Silva well on his future endeavors.
