Jonathan Bailey has been named People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive 2025.” The announcement was made Monday during an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show.
The Hollywood actor expressed his surprise and delight at receiving the prestigious title. He referred to the honor as a “big deal.”
Bailey revealed that he received the news earlier this year. He had kept the information a secret until the official announcement.
“I’m happy People Magazine chose me for this title in 2025,” Bailey stated humorously. “I truly appreciate this achievement.”
He acknowledged that his friends might initially be upset for not sharing the news sooner. However, he anticipated their eventual excitement.
“They’ve seen me grow in my career and know all my secrets,” he added playfully.
This coveted title has been awarded to several prominent figures over the years. Mel Gibson was the first recipient in 1985.
John Krasinski was recognized with the title in 2024. Other past honorees include David Beckham, Chris Hemsworth, and Michael B. Jordan.
