Jon Rahm Pursues Tyrrell Hatton at Nashville Golf Tournament

Jon Rahm sets out on Tyrrell Hatton's trail in Nashville

The country capital of Nashville is alive with energy as 18 holes remain to resolve the ninth stage of LIV Golf. The excitement is palpable after Bryson DeChambeau’s victory in the US Open, with fans even taking off their shirts to celebrate. Meanwhile, Tyrrell Hatton, Jon Rahm’s English teammate and partner in the Ryder Cup, has taken the lead by four strokes, followed closely by DeChambeau and John Catlin.

Tyrrell Hatton had a successful Saturday in the short game, maintaining a steady pace with 11 straight holes of par or better. However, it was his strong finish that turned heads, as he made six birdies in his final seven holes, including a dramatic chip from the edge of the green on the 13th. “It was a bit frustrating at first, but I’m happy with how I finished,” he said.

Bryson DeChambeau (66) extended his recent hot streak, but struggled on the greens. Despite his efforts, Hatton’s strong finish left him struggling to close the gap.

Jon Rahm delivered the best card in the entire field, shooting a 63 despite a rough start. He began with a bogey on the 6th hole but quickly recovered with nine birdies over the next 16 holes. Despite feeling uncomfortable with some of his shots, Rahm’s putting proved clutch, and he emerged as a contender for the first victory in the LIV Golf.

Meanwhile, Spanish teammates Chacarra and Sergio failed to build on their strong starts, posting 70 and 71 scores respectively. David Puig struggled, carding a 73, while Abraham Ancer fell to 75.
