Nikola Jokic crushed a ruinous Washington Wizards this Wednesday in which Stephen Curry left injured in a Golden State Warriors who continue to suffer at home while Tyler Herro hit the winning basket for the Miami Heat.

In a fairly thick game, the Los Angeles Clippers got their act together in the fourth quarter (32-23) to get their third straight victory at the hands of Kawhi Leonard (19 points and 8 rebounds) and Paul George (triple-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists)

In the Wolves, weighed down by the absences of Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell and who have lost three consecutive games, Anthony Edwards (19 points and 7 rebounds) and Rudy Gobert (11 points and 13 rebounds) stood out.

Magic 135, Hawks 124
With an astonishing 50-22 in the first quarter, the Orlando Magic, who broke their all-time scoring record in one period, added their fourth straight win by beating the struggling Atlanta Hawks (only one win in six games).

Franz Wagner (24 points) and Trae Young (19 points and 16 assists) stood out in Orlando and Atlanta, respectively.

The San Antonio Spurs’ streak of three consecutive victories -after having lost eleven consecutive games- came to an end this Wednesday with the visit of some Portland Trail Blazers led by a magnificent Damian Lillard once again (37 points with 7 of 14 in triples and 8 assists).

Keldon Johnson (25 points and 7 rebounds) led a Spurs who conceded 60.5% from the field from Portland.

Kings 124, Raptors 123
Trailing 29-36 in the fourth quarter of a close game, the Sacramento Kings left Toronto with a hard-fought victory thanks to De’Aaron Fox (27 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists) and Domantas Sabonis (21 points, 20 rebounds and 7 assists).

Fred VanVleet’s 39 points and 8 rebounds were of no use to the Raptors.

Spaniard Juancho Hernangómez returned in Toronto after four games away with a sprained ankle and had 5 points, 5 rebounds and an assist in 24 minutes.

Pistons 141, Hornets 134
In a low-key duel between the two worst teams in the East, the Detroit Pistons beat the Charlotte Hornets in overtime in which LaMelo Ball returned (23 points and 11 assists).

Killian Hayes was close to the triple-double in Detroit (25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists).
