Jesé could return to Spain to finish second

The January transfer market is in full swing and one of the names who has yet to find a target is Jesé Rodríguez. After a disappointing experience in Brazil, where he spent barely four months at Coritiba and played just 90 minutes as a substitute in six games, the Canary Islands striker is looking for a new team that will give him the opportunity to return the favor.

Since leaving Real Madrid in 2016 after a multi-million dollar transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, Jesé has had a career marked by several loan spells and unsuccessful experiences at clubs such as Las Palmas, Betis, Stoke City and Sporting de Portugal. His last attempts abroad took him to Sampdoria in Italy and Ankaragücü in Turkey, where his performances were not entirely outstanding.

Now, at the age of 30, Jesé could return to Spain in search of a second chance. Over the past month he has been linked with LaLiga EA Sports teams such as Valencia and Almería, although no progress has been made on either of those options so far.

Chance in the second league

However, in the last few hours a new possibility has emerged in the Spanish second division. According to reports from La Provincia, Racing de Ferrol, a recently promoted team that currently sits second in the category, is interested in signing Jesé. The Galician club is aiming to make it to the first division for the first time in its history and would like to strengthen its squad to achieve this.

Carlos Mouriz, the general director of Racing de Ferrol, has confirmed that they are looking for a defender and a right winger and Jesé is one of the options they are considering to strengthen their attack. Meanwhile, the player nicknamed 'Bichito' is waiting for his agents to make him more offers before making a final decision on his future.
