Qualifier 1 was played between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at IPL 2022. This match took place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In this match, Rajasthan beat Gujarat by 7 wickets. With this, the GT team reached the final. GT is the first IPL team to reach the finals in their debut season. Batting first, RR scored 188 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. In response, GT won the match in the last over. David Miller hit three straight sixes on three balls from the famous Krishna in the last over.

David Miller, who was awarded the man of the match in Qualifier 1, was not sold for the first time in the mega auction. But when his name was called in the second round, some teams showed interest in buying him. There was a competition between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans to buy Miller all the way and in the end Gujarat bought Miller for Rs 3 crore by bidding on 16th place. Miller’s base price was Rs 1 crore.

In the Qualifier-1 (IPL 2022 Qualifier 1) match against Rajasthan (Rajasthan Royals), Miller batted very carefully at the start. He scored only 10 runs in the first 14 balls. But then, after he was ready, he switched gears and started scoring runs quickly. He scored 58 runs in the next 24 balls. Miller played an unbeaten 68 off 38 balls. During this he hit 3 fours and 5 sixes. In the last over, he scored a hat-trick of sixes.
