Inzaghi demands respect for Inter players amid Bayern injuries

Bayern’s opponent, Inter, is gearing up for a tough match. Their coach, Inzaghi, wants respect for his players. They’ve been dealing with a packed schedule.

Inzaghi said, “Since I arrived, we’ve won six titles. We could’ve had eight.” He notes they lost the Champions League final and barely missed the Scudetto. “These guys deserve more applause. We’ve been at it for two months, missing five players, but all anyone talks about is Bayern’s absences.”

Inzaghi shared a story about their last game against Parma. He could’ve made four substitutions due to injuries, but he wanted to see how people would react. “I only made one switch, Arnautovic, at the end.” He compared Bayern and Inter, recalling their matchup in 2022.

Inzaghi feels his team has grown, but it’s hard to compete with big clubs like Bayern. “We’ve been competitive, and that’s like a trophy. We’ve had budget cuts for four years, but we’re still on top thanks to our players and staff.” He thinks Bayern is the favorite to win.

“We know what it took to get here,” Inzaghi said. “Bayern is strong, and Kompany is doing a great job. They can choose between Gnabry or Muller to replace Musiala, which shows you who we’re up against.” He expects a tough game, but both teams will struggle. Dimarco will likely miss the match. “More no than yes,” he concluded.
