Influencer Paola Caldera Dies at 30 After Online Leukemia Battle

Paola Caldera, an online personality known for sharing her life, has passed away at 30 years old. She had been bravely fighting against leukemia.

Her family shared the sad news on TikTok last week. They spoke about how much she meant to them. “Today we say goodbye to someone who brightened our lives,” they wrote. “She showed us her strength, love, and wisdom, even when things were hardest.”

The family explained that while leukemia took her physical presence, it could not erase the impact she had. “The mark she left on our hearts will last forever,” they added. “We will always remember her courage, her endless kindness, and the memories we shared. Rest in peace, Caldera. Your light will keep shining in all of us.” You can see their heartfelt message on TikTok.

Paola began sharing her life as a mother of two online a couple of years ago. By May 2023, she had gathered over 100,000 followers on TikTok. Her honest updates about her health struggle brought even more people to her page.

In September 2024, Paola told her followers on Instagram about her diagnosis. She had acute lymphocytic leukemia. This is a type of cancer that grows quickly, affecting the blood and bone marrow. It causes the body to make blood cells that don’t work right, according to the Mayo Clinic. She started her fight against the illness right away.

She reached out to her followers and kind strangers for help. She set up a GoFundMe page to cover her medical costs. “I ask for your help in this battle,” she wrote. “We will win this. Every little bit, every donation, will make a big difference. It will help my family focus on what matters most: my recovery, so I can be home and healthy soon.”

Over the next year, Paola kept sharing her journey. She posted about her good days and bad days with leukemia. This included hospital stays and happy times celebrating with her kids. Her children were 8 and 3 years old when she passed.

She marked her 30th birthday in August. On Instagram, she shared photos of herself. She described herself as a “brave warrior” and a “strong woman” in every way.

“To those who remembered my birthday, thank you, I love you!” she posted on August 16. This was next to a picture of her with a shaved head. She wrote that she was “the same person, but different and stronger!” She also shared photos wearing a red wig. Paola held big golden balloons, a tradition she kept for her special day each year. She called herself a “woman who doesn’t lose her essence, with a positive attitude.” She was “super happy!” The post ended with a video of her blowing out candles with her children by her side.
