A teaser has been released for “Baahubali The Eternal War,” a new 3D animated film set to expand the beloved “Baahubali” universe. This animated feature is directed by Ishan Shukla, known for his work on projects like “Star Wars: Visions” and “The Bandits of Golak.”
The “Baahubali” franchise gained immense popularity with its live-action films starring Prabhas. Recently, a combined version, “Baahubali The Epic,” also performed well in theaters. This new animated installment aims to continue the epic narrative through a different medium.
“Baahubali The Eternal War” promises a distinct story, set apart from the timelines of “Baahubali: The Beginning” and “The Conclusion.” It is expected to explore Amarendra Baahubali’s legacy in a fresh way, with the teaser hinting at themes of Shiva devotion and new cosmic elements.
Filmmaker SS Rajamouli collaborated with animation director Ishan Shukla to bring this unique vision to life. The project boasts a substantial budget of 120 crore Indian Rupees, approximately $14.4 million USD. It took two and a half years to produce.
The film stands as one of the most expensive animated productions in Indian cinema. The 2-minute 27-second teaser showcases impressive animation, and actor Prabhas has expressed considerable excitement for the project.
