India panics over bomb blast on passenger plane

In India, there was an uproar after reports of explosives in a flight coming from Moscow, Russia.

According to Indian media, the flight of the Russian airline Azur Air (Azur Air) was going from Moscow to the Indian city of Goa.

244 people including crew members were traveling in the plane. Shortly before landing, the Goa Air Traffic Control (ATC) was informed about the presence of a bomb on the plane.

Based on the information, the flight was immediately diverted to the Indian state of Gujarat, where the aircraft made an emergency landing.

According to Inspector General of Police, Rajkot, Jamnagar Range, Ashok Kumar Yadav, all 236 passengers and 8 crew members have been evacuated from the plane safely.

Ashok Kumar Yadav said that no suspicious material was found during the search of the plane and the police and bomb disposal squad as well as local authorities are investigating the matter.
