According to Indian media reports, a man in Banganga area of Madhya Pradesh took terrible revenge on his neighbor for not allowing him to light firecrackers on the occasion of Diwali.
On Monday, the youth sprayed petrol on the neighbor and set him on fire for not allowing him to light firecrackers, in which the entire vehicle was burnt to ashes.
Banganga police arrested the accused on Tuesday on a complaint from a neighbor, a man from Khosa Nagar, who confessed to the crime during interrogation and said that he did it for revenge.
A man named Manish said that when he came out of the house on Tuesday morning, his car was burnt down and he reached the police station and lodged a complaint against an unknown person.
Police obtained CCTV footage after the complaint was registered, with the help of which the accused was arrested. According to the report, further legal action is being taken against the accused named Ravi Rajput.
Ravi told police that another friend was also involved in the operation. Police have stepped up efforts to arrest Chocho Elias Sagar.
