IND vs SA: Ashish Nehra gave special advice to Team India regarding the game XI in the second test
The second match of the three-test series between India and South Africa will be played in Johannesburg from January 3. Former Indian fast bowler Ashish Nehra has advised the India team not to change the game XI in this test. Nehra says that, like the Centurion, the Johannesburg launch will prove useful for bowlers, if India makes any changes to their game XI they will be surprised. In the Centurion event, India beat South Africa by 113 runs. Now India led by Virat Kohli has a chance to win the test series for the first time in South Africa.
IND v SA: India team coach Dravid called this ICC rule harsh
The former cricketer said the absence of the all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will not require much thought for the team’s management as he will go with the same XI who played at Centurion.
Nehra told Cricbuzz: “I don’t think they are thinking too much about the change. The Johannesburg launch will also be as fast and dynamic as Centurion. If Ravindra Jadeja had been there, I might have thought of giving it a shot instead of Shardul Thakur. I would think. or I’d give both of them a chance. “
He added: “Other than that, there really is no problem. They have made it clear that they want to go with Ajinkya Rahane while the fast bowlers have done very well. So if India makes any changes I would be very surprised.”
The 42-year-old recalled that the kind of tone that provides sewing movement has been helpful to India in the past.

He said: “I think this type of field has always been more useful for India. If you look at any of India’s victories in South Africa, they have occurred in fields that have more sewing movement. When India won in 2006, S Sreesanth took five grounds, even at that time the ball was sewing a lot.
The former fast bowler also feels South Africa’s troubles will only increase after the retirement of wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock.
