Rakhi Sawant, an entertainment personality frequently in the news for her outspoken comments, recently garnered significant attention at a promotional event for her new song. She made headlines for both her elaborate jewelry claims and pointed remarks directed at actress Urvashi Rautela.
During the event, Sawant displayed a lavish ensemble, claiming its total value to be approximately $8.4 million USD. She was dressed in a traditional lehenga-choli, accessorized with a golden headpiece and a sparkling silver necklace.
Sawant asserted that the headpiece alone was valued at around $6 million USD, while the necklace was worth an additional $2.4 million USD. Her declarations were quickly followed by a direct verbal jab at Rautela.
She stated, “I don’t lie like Urvashi Rautela.”

When asked if she felt competitive with Rautela, Sawant retorted, questioning the interviewer’s judgment. She suggested comparisons to internationally recognized stars like Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Paris Hilton, and Kim Kardashian instead.
Sawant further commented on a past song by Rautela, humorously noting its transformation from “Abidi Dabidi” to “Dabidi Dabidi.” A nearby light flickered off immediately after her comment, leading her to humorously inquire, “Was the song so inauspicious?”
These public statements occurred during the promotion of Sawant’s new romantic single, “Zaroorat.” Saif Ali composed and sang the track, with lyrics by Ayush. Sawant co-stars with actor Shahbaz Khan in the song’s music video.
