It is now possible to buy Hublot watches with crypto. The Swiss watchmaker Hublot has launched its new luxury limited edition watch, the ‘Big Bang Unico Grey’. One can buy this watch through the crypto payment platform BitPay.
A total of 200 watches have been made available on the Hublot platform. Many luxury brands have now embraced crypto payments. Despite an overall decline in the crypto market, these brands are quite positive about using Bitcoin as a payment option.
Recently, well-known brands such as Tag Heuer, Gucci and Balenciaga have started accepting crypto payments. Some luxury brands are in a testing phase for crypto payments.
Intermediaries such as BitPay, a cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, facilitate these companies to enter the crypto world. The companies do not need to have any technical knowledge of the industry to accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as a means of payment.
