Kiran Rao’s grandfather, J Rameshwar, used to be the king of Wanaparthi. His childhood was spent in Calcutta. His education was completed at Loreto House School in Kolkata. Kiran was a very good student in studies from the beginning.
After completing her education, Kiran entered Sophia College for Women in Mumbai for further education. From this university, Ella Kiran earned a bachelor’s degree in economics.
