Riyadh: According to Saudi Arabia’s labor law, fleeing from “sponsors” is considered a serious crime against foreign workers.
The worker is required by law to work in the country under his sponsorship, and if he has the opportunity to work elsewhere, he must regularly change his sponsorship.
It is illegal for a worker to have someone else or to run his own business. People who have a hard file against them are deported.
With regard to escaping from Harob, the employer, a person inquired about the justification of how Haroob could be eliminated.
In this regard, Licensing said that in order to cancel Harub, it is necessary to cancel it through the sponsor’s “Abshar” or “Muqim” account within 15 days of its filing.
It is easy to cancel Hurob within the stipulated period but it becomes difficult to cancel it after two weeks have elapsed.
According to the licenses, in order for the Hrub file to be canceled two weeks after its filing, the worker has to present evidence in court that Hrub was wrongly filed.
If it is proved in the court that Haroob was wrongly filed, the court orders cancellation. After the court order, the labor office cancels the worker’s Hurob. Regarding Hurob, another person asked if the person deported from Hurob can come to Saudi Arabia again.
According to the law, foreign workers who are deported from the country are blacklisted in the country on a permanent basis under the new law and they can come to the country only on Umrah and Hajj visas. Cannot come on work visa.
It should be noted that earlier, foreign workers who were deported on charges of harassment were blacklisted for a limited period on work visas for the country.
In the past, the duration of a blacklist of deportees was three to 10 years. Now, under the new law, people who are deported are blacklisted for life, they can come to the country only on Umrah or Hajj visa, not more.
