Honor has been making a name for itself globally since separating from Huawei in 2020. They just launched a new phone, the X7d. This budget-friendly device packs a serious punch. It focuses on a big battery and tough build quality.
Don’t let its affordable price fool you. The X7d is built to last. It passed tough drop tests, earning a 5-star rating from SGS, a global testing company. It also shrugs off dust and high-pressure water splashes. That’s thanks to its IP65 rating.
The phone features a 6.77-inch LCD screen. It has a resolution of 720 x 1,610 pixels. The display got an upgrade to a 120 Hz refresh rate. This makes motion on screen look super smooth, showing up to 120 frames per second. Even with the faster refresh, the resolution stays at 720p+, just like before.
Under the hood, the X7d uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chip. This chip came out in 2023. It’s built on a 6-nanometer process. It offers speeds up to 2.8 GHz for the main processor. Graphics are handled by an Adreno 610 chip. While it’s a 4G-only chip, it handles games and AI features well. You can get it with up to 16 GB of RAM. Storage goes up to 256 GB.

The X7d comes with a massive 6,500 mAh battery. This battery supports 35W SuperCharge for quick power-ups. Despite the big battery, the phone is fairly slim at 8.2 mm. It weighs 208 grams. It runs Honor’s MagicOS 9.0. This software is built on Android 15.
