Honor Vs arrives on November 23 with an unexpected processor

It will be on November 23 that Honor, a former Huawei brand, will reveal its new folding smartphone Vs.

One of the big surprises will be the integrated processor. The brand will stick with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and not the new chip that Qualcomm will announce next week. And there is a reason why that happens.

Honor has already confirmed that on November 23 it will hold a press conference. The brand is expected to reveal this time the new folding smartphone Vs. But it seems that the former Huawei brand will equip the model with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and not with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that Qualcomm will announce on November 16 .

This is an unexpected option, but one that has already merited clarification in the Web world. According to rumors, Honor will not include the new Qualcomm chip, since the Vs is “only” a variant of the previous terminal and not a new folding model.

In other words, it is an iteration and not a model that will lead to a new generation of folding smartphones from the brand.

Specs Expected on Honor Vs

Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station shared on Weibo some of the specs we can expect to see on the upcoming foldable Honor.

Thus, in addition to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, the model will also have a 4,750 mAh battery with support for 66-watt fast charging.

Like the previous model, it should also have two sizable screens. The exterior is 6.7 inches and the interior is 7.9 inches, both with an OLED panel.

It is also expected to be available with 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of internal storage capacity. For the rest, it should also inherit the triple rear camera configuration with three sensors of 50 megapixel resolution each.
