Honor continues full steam ahead with launches in 2023. At the beginning of the year it presented its second foldable smartphone during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the honor magic vs. Now it is preparing to launch a new model.
During the MWC in Shanghai, Honor CEO George Zhao officially confirmed the launch date of Honor Magic V2 for July 12. Apparently, it will be a new folding smartphone format that unfolds to become a tablet.

The executive affirms that the device aims to “revolutionize the folding experience.” We will have to see how it will do it, at a time when Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi or even Google already offer their alternatives on the market.
The Honor Magic Vs hits the market with a 10% lighter body and an improved hinge. However, the executive did not mention what we can expect from the revolutionary Honor Magic V2. Wireless charging or water resistance may be on the list of novelties.
My impressions of the Honor Magic Vs were very good during the time that I used it at the Mobile World Congress. It struck me as a robust and foldable smartphone, for a device that was only in its second iteration.
Surely, the Honor Magic V2 will hit the market with some of the best specs in the industry and will be priced accordingly. The July 12 release will be in China, but like Magic Vs, it could hit global markets in the near future.
