Meet the Honor Play 60 series, the latest budget-friendly smartphones from Honor. Unveiled in China, these devices are the successors to the Play 50 series from 2024. The Play 60 and Play 60m share the same hardware but differ in color and price.
Power and Performance
The Honor Play 60 and Play 60m are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built with 6nm technology. This chipset features:
- 2 ARM Cortex A76 cores with a maximum speed of 2.4 GHz
- 6 ARM Cortex A55 cores with a maximum speed of 2.0 GHz
- ARM G57 MC2 graphics processing unit with a maximum speed of 950 MHz
The chipset is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The devices run on MagicOS 9.1, based on Android 15.
Display and Cameras
The Honor Play 60 and Play 60m feature a 1604 × 720 pixel LCD screen with a maximum brightness of 1,010 Nit. The display supports natural light mode for eye comfort and has a 5-megapixel (f/2.2) selfie camera.
The rear camera is a 13-megapixel (f/1.8) primary sensor that supports 10x digital zoom, 1080p video recording, and features like night mode, dual-view video recording, HDR video recording, time-lapse video recording, and smile detection.
Battery and Connectivity
Both devices have a large 6,000 mAh battery and IP64 rating for protection against water and dust. They support 5G, Wi-Fi 5 (2.4 GHz/ 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS (AGPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo), USB Type-C, OTG, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Honor Play 60 and Play 60m come with various security features, including face unlock, app lock, AI-powered face change detection, and secure payment protection.

The Honor Play 60 is available in three colors: Ink Rock Black, Jade Dragon Snow, and Xiaoshan Qing. The prices are:
