
Uttar Pradesh: Heavy rains in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh have disrupted daily life.
According to Indian media reports, the ongoing rains in Uttar Pradesh have submerged many houses, while falling trees and power poles have affected the power system in many areas. At least five people have been killed and several others injured in rain-related accidents. There are reports of injuries.
According to the report received from Jaunpur, several mud houses collapsed and four people including three members of the same family were killed and several others were injured.

The rains affected road, rail and air traffic, canceled several flights at Amosi Airport and inundated the railway track, disrupting train services between Lucknow and Jhansi.
Many districts of the state, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayag Raj, Ayodhya, Barabanki and Kashi Nagar, have been badly affected by the rains.
