Google has launched Pomelli, an artificial intelligence-powered marketing assistant designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) streamline content creation and maintain consistent brand identity.
The new public beta tool, currently available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, aims to alleviate common challenges faced by businesses in developing engaging campaigns and advertising content. Pomelli automates key aspects of marketing by first creating a “Business DNA” profile for users. This profile is generated by scanning a company’s website URL, automatically extracting elements like brand tone, imagery, color schemes, and fonts to ensure all generated content aligns with the brand’s overall image.
After establishing a brand’s unique identity, the tool proposes tailored marketing campaign ideas. Users can also input their own concepts for the AI to further develop. Pomelli then produces high-quality sets of images and accompanying ad copy, which can be edited directly within the platform before being downloaded for use across social media, websites, or other advertising platforms.
This initiative by Google seeks to reduce the financial burden and time investment typically required for brand-consistent marketing efforts. By simplifying the content generation process, Pomelli offers an opportunity for SMEs and marketers to expand their reach and reduce operational costs.
The tool currently supports only the English language, with availability for other regions expected in future updates. Marketers and businesses in other global markets will need to await further rollout announcements.
