Indeed, for a still unknown reason, the default voice changes suddenly in favor of an East Indian voice.

“Hello, I use the English voice and usually it is a female voice. On the way back home today, it was mostly the female voice. Then suddenly, during an instruction, she spoke in what sounded like a deep male voice with a slight Indian accent. Has anyone known this? It’s crazy”, tells a user on Reddit.
“Same thing here. A man with an Indian accent. He started by alternating between the usual female voice and the Indian male voice, then became completely Indian after a few minutes ”, add another user. It’s unclear to what extent this issue affects users and if country, language, or device are factors. Of course, this bug does not affect the accuracy of guidance and instructions, but let’s say that it can indeed be disconcerting.
