After two and a half years, Japan has decided to lift the restrictions imposed for tourists due to the corona virus.
According to a foreign news agency, while talking to journalists at the New York Stock Exchange, Japanese Prime Minister Fumiyoshida said that tourists were facing difficulties in coming to Japan due to Corona, but since October 11, Japan has decided to relax the restrictions imposed on the borders.
He said that Japan has also decided to provide visa-free travel facilities while relaxing the restrictions. Japan suspended the free visa program in March 2020. More than 3.1 million foreign tourists visited Japan in 2019 under the visa-free program.
From June 2022, Japan allowed foreign tourists in groups under the guidance of tour guides.
