Actor Ajay Devgn has fueled anticipation for a potential “Golmaal 5,” hinting at the next installment in the popular comedy franchise. The tease comes as “Golmaal 3” celebrates its 15th anniversary.
Devgn publicly questioned director Rohit Shetty about their “next Goa vacation” on social media. This is a common reference for the film series, which often features its ensemble cast on adventures in Goa.
He shared an image from “Golmaal 3” on his Instagram story, featuring the film’s cast alongside director Shetty. The post was accompanied by the hashtag #15YearsOfGolmaal3.
The “Golmaal” franchise, directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ajay Devgn, is one of Bollywood’s most successful. All four previous films have performed well at the box office and received critical acclaim.
The series began in 2006 with “Golmaal: Fun Unlimited.” That film starred Ajay Devgn, Sharman Joshi, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, and Rimi Sen.
Subsequent installments include “Golmaal Returns” in 2008, “Golmaal 3” in 2010, and “Golmaal Again” in 2017. Fans have awaited a fifth film for eight years.
Director Rohit Shetty has also previously hinted at a fifth installment. Devgn’s recent social media post has further excited fans for a new “Golmaal” movie.
