Golf Augusta Masters: Argentine De Oliveira had a good first round

Golfer Mateo Fernández de Oliveira, the only Argentine to participate in the prestigious Augusta Masters that began today and will end next Sunday, made his debut in the first majors of the year “with a good first round” in which he acknowledged that he felt “very comfortable”.

“The truth is that I felt very comfortable on this first day when I finished with four under par. That’s why the numbers don’t show how good I felt,” the 23-year-old Sanisidrense explained to ESPN.

“After a start of expectations, I settled in and ended up enjoying it a lot,” said the young golfer, who is one of the seven fans in this American tournament that has the return of the famous Tiger Woods.

The Spanish Jon Rahm Rodríguez, the Norwegian Viktor Hovlan and the American Brokks Koepka finished in first place after the first day of competition.
