The first users to notice this new feature will be those who have already activated their Chat account. Even so, in the coming weeks, more Gmail users will enjoy the new design conceived for this service.
Also note that the new design will change Gmail’s traditional white background to a blue background. Various elements and text boxes will now feature rounded corners inspired by the Material You design philosophy launched in Android 12.
