Esports organization G2 Esports has unexpectedly moved veteran VALORANT player Jonah “JonahP” Pulice to its reserve bench, despite his recent championship wins with the team.
The decision, announced Wednesday, November 12, 2025, comes after Pulice’s two-year tenure with G2.
G2 made the announcement via a brief post on X, formerly Twitter. The post thanked “the Professor” – Pulice’s nickname – for “memories and masterclasses across the globe.”

The organization further noted that a “proper farewell” video would be released once Pulice is no longer part of G2.
Pulice was a key part of G2’s success in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT). He helped the team secure three VCT 2025 Americas championships.
These victories include the VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff, where G2 defeated Sentinels 3-2. G2 also won the VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 against Sentinels with a 3-1 score.
His third VCT 2025 title came in Americas Stage 2, where G2 swept NRG 3-0. Before joining G2, Pulice played for other prominent esports teams such as Complexity, Immortals, and The Guard.
