FURIA VALORANT Struggles in VCT Americas Stage 1 Debut

The FURIA VALORANT team kicked off their VCT Americas Stage 1 campaign with a match against G2 Esports. This best-of-three series was part of the group stage.

After getting eliminated early from the VCT Kickoff, FURIA is back with their full and official lineup from game one.
They played on the Lotus map, chosen by their US opponents. FURIA took an early lead, 9-3, but G2 turned it around to win 13-10.

The second match was on Ascent, a new map in the competition. Alexander “jawgemo” Mor and his team had a strong first half. Luis “pryze” Henrique and Khalil “khalil” Schmidt made a key play to win a crucial point for FURIA. However, G2 won 13-7.

FURIA isn’t out of the tournament yet, but they need to win to feel more comfortable. Their next match is against NRG on March 28.

What’s Next for FURIA

The team will look to bounce back from this loss. With the group stage still ongoing, FURIA has a chance to turn things around. They just need to focus on their next matches and take it one game at a time.
