The Brazilian team FURIA faced off against GamerLegion in a best-of-three matchup at the IEM Dallas 2025 tournament. For FURIA to stay in the competition, they needed to win – otherwise, they’d be out.
They’re the only Brazilian team left in the tournament. Legacy, another team, lost to Team Vitality, the world’s top-ranked team.
FURIA vs GamerLegion
The first game was on Train, FURIA’s choice. At halftime, FURIA was up 7-6. But GamerLegion’s Sebastian “Tauson” Tauson and his team turned it around and won 13-9.
Next up was Mirage. It looked like GamerLegion would take it, but FURIA pulled off some key wins after sides were switched and won 13-6. The final game was on Nuke. It played out similarly to the first game, but FURIA lost 8-13.
