Fried and Harris II lead the Braves to win the series against the Mets

Max Fried narrowly outpointed Jacob deGrom for aces, and rookie Michael Harris II hit a go-ahead double in the seventh as the Atlanta Braves beat the New York Mets 3-2 Thursday night. York.

Fried (11-4) worked seven chapters, in which he allowed two runs and four hits, without giving walks and with six strikeouts.

DeGrom (2-1) gave up five hits and three runs while not walking and striking out nine in 6 2/3 innings.

For the Mets, the Dominican Starling Marte 4-0. Puerto Rican Lindor 4-1.

For the Braves, Venezuelan Ronald Acuña Jr. 4-0. Puerto Rican Eddie Rosario 3-0.
