Free Fire Team ANTISOCIAL Drops Roster Despite 4th Place Finish

A prominent esports organization has dismissed its entire mobile Free Fire roster just days after the team placed fourth in a key regional championship, signaling the unforgiving pressures of competitive gaming.

ANTISOCIAL TEAM announced on Wednesday, May 29, that it had released its full mobile lineup. The squad had recently competed in the Liga Ascensão de Free Fire 2025 (LAFF 2025).

Despite a competitive fourth-place finish, the team did not secure the promotion coveted by organizations in the highly competitive Free Fire scene. The LAFF 2025 final concluded on Sunday, May 26.

In contrast, tournament champions Civis and runner-up Outplay Esports were both promoted to the Free Fire World Series Brasil 2026 (FFWS BR). Each of these top two teams also secured R$ 80,000 in prize money, equivalent to approximately $15,200 USD, according to Garena, the game’s developer.

ANTISOCIAL TEAM issued a statement on Instagram expressing gratitude to the departing players. The organization thanked them for their “time, effort, and dedication,” adding, “You are part of our history and our family! We wish you much success in each of your journeys and may you continue to shine always!”

The dismissed players include Pedro “trevor” Henrique, Ângelo Erick “zetsu” da Silva, Addyson “Addy7” Moreira, and Emanuel “Ousado” Costa.

LAFF 2025 marked the return of the Free Fire “Series B” tournaments, designed to promote emerging talent to the top tier of competitive play.
