Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White has lauded Manchester United’s recent resurgence in the Premier League, attributing their improved form to consistent managerial backing, a pointed observation given his own club’s frequent coaching changes.
Gibbs-White praised Manchester United’s resolve under coach Erik ten Hag, noting their “will and determination to defend the shirt” despite earlier struggles this season. He described the transformation as “incredible to see” and “something the league needed.”
Manchester United currently rides a wave of three consecutive Premier League victories, demonstrating a marked improvement in their performance.
This stands in stark contrast to Nottingham Forest, which has undergone significant managerial upheaval this season, with coaches including Nuno EspÃrito Santo departing.
Despite acknowledging United’s strong form ahead of their upcoming match, Gibbs-White emphasized his team’s focus on their own strategy.
“All we can do is concentrate on ourselves,” Gibbs-White told ‘Goal’. “We have to focus on what we want to do and how we can win the match.”
He added that Forest has begun implementing new ideas this week, with their coach preparing further tactics for the upcoming game against Manchester United.
