Huellas del Siglo easily dominated Rafael Barias, with a score of 104-79, to close the four-game Sunday session of the XLVI Superior Basketball Tournament of the National District, at the Professor Virgilio Travieso Soto Sports Palace.
Cristo Rey natives Richard Bautista (Manito) and Randy Bautista became a deadly pair against their opponents scoring 22 and 19 points, respectively.
Manito Bautista completed a double-double by getting 11 assists, in addition to taking seven rebounds, and also had the support of Darwin Cabrera with 15 points and 12 trapped balls, and Ángel Puello and the North American reinforcement Anthony Johnson finished with 13 baskets.
For the barians, the American Quintin Alexander had 16 points and seven rebounds, followed by Brayan Ramírez with 13 points, Manuel Fortuna 11 and Graig Víctor had another 11 plus eight rebounds.
With the victory, Huellas is placed in the first place of Group B with 2-0 and Barias is paired at 1-1, the same as San Lázaro and El Millón is left with a negative mark of 0-2.
The district contest is dedicated to César Cedeño and as an option to the BanReservas Cup.

The matches for this Tuesday will start at 7:00 at night with the confrontation between the San Carlos and Los Prados teams; and at 9:00, it will be Mauricio Báez vs. Bameso, at the Professor Virgilio Travieso Soto Sports Palace.
