First inauguration of Major League Baseball outside the US

The Major Leagues is becoming more and more international, a fact that began since the Mets and Padres traveled to Mexico in 1996 to celebrate a series of three games valid for the regular day in Monterrey.

The Major Leagues held regular round games in Europe for the first time, when in London, England two games were held between Boston and the Yankees, on Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30, 2019, the Yankees won both the first 17-13 and the second 12 – 8, these were held at the London Stadium, where 59,659 fans attended the first challenge and 59,059 the second for a total of 118,718 people.
