In 2017, filmmakers Meghna Gulzar and Ronnie Screwvala had announced that they would be making a film about the life of quarterback Sam Manekshaw. Almost two years later, it was revealed that Vicky Kaushal would be playing the title role in the film. In April this year, the film also got its title and that is ‘Sam Bahadur’ (#SamBahadur).
Now a new update has come out on this movie. According to media reports, Fatima Sana Shaikh has now entered this Meghna Gulzar movie. He has approached Fatima to play a major role in the film ‘Sam Bahadur’, for which he has also agreed. Meanwhile, pre-production work on the film is underway and filming is expected to begin early next year.
Vicky’s first look as Sam Manekshaw was revealed in 2019. Aside from this movie, Vicky also has ‘Ashwathama’. Along with this, Vicky will also appear in Shashank Khaitan’s film ‘Mr Lele’ along with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.
