Farah gave Rohit’s mom a hug and joked, “Deepika Padukone didn’t take this long to say yes to me!” The fun continued when Dilip, Farah’s cook, asked, “When will Deepika Padukone ma’am come on our show?” Farah first quipped, “She will come the day you go to your village.” Then, she landed the main punchline about Deepika’s strict schedule. “Deepika Padukone now only shoots for 8 hours,” Farah stated. “She doesn’t have time to come on the show.” It was a lighthearted jab, showing the close bond between the two stars.

Deepika Padukone has reportedly stepped back from the big screen since becoming a mother in September 2024. During this period, she has exited two major film projects: ‘Spirit’ and the sequel to ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The reason behind her departure from these films is her 8-hour daily work condition. This decision has largely been met with support from many in the film industry. They understand that her daughter, Dua, is still very young, and Deepika is clearly prioritizing her family life.
